the why

  • BENEFITS OF THERAPY

Therapy is a safe and supportive space where you can heal, learn, and grow. Therapy can help you gain deeper insights into your thoughts, behaviours, and emotions, leading to greater self-awareness. It can support you to heal the wounds of the past and work toward creating the future you truly desire.

  • WHAT TO EXPECT

Sessions with Lucille last 55 minutes and are held via Zoom. The first session will focus on what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, explore a bit of your personal history, and identify some goals. These goals will then guide our work together moving forward. Lucille will use different therapeutic techniques and styles depending on what we are working on together.

  • INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Are you wanting to understand yourself more deeply? Are you hoping to process and heal from past relational experiences? Are you keen to improve how you show up to and engage in relationships? Are you wanting to date better and reduce dating anxiety? Whatever brings you to therapy, Lucille is here to support you. While Lucille specializes in sex and relationship therapy she also works with many other areas including depression, anxiety, trauma, workplace issues, family dynamics, and parenting.

  • RELATIONSHIP THERAPY

Want to improve your relationship with your partner/s? Would you like to improve your communication and learn to better navigate conflict? Are you keen to understand your attachment style and how it influences the way you engage in relationship? Therapy can support you to better understand yourself and your partner/s and therefore improve your relationship. It can help you gain clarity on the dance that plays out between you, why you experience the sorts of issues and challenges you do, and help you break old unhelpful patterns. In therapy, we will work through the challenges to create more space for connection and focus on building the relational skills you need to have a thriving relationship.

  • SEX THERAPY

Sex therapy provides a structured approach to navigating sexual difficulties and can play a crucial role in enhancing intimacy and connection by addressing underlying issues, improving sexual communication, and fostering emotional closeness between partners. Reasons you might consider engaging in sex therapy include exploring your sexuality or sexual orientation, building sexual self-confidence, deepening intimacy with your partner/s emotionally and sexually, addressing sexual challenges, navigating differences in desire and libido, to process and heal from past sexual trauma, to better understand sexual desire, or to improve performance related anxiety… just to name a few. You can access sex therapy individually or with your partner.
